An optional upgrade for some of our pools is the new Krystal Clear Deluxe Saltwater System which allows pool owners to eliminate the costly & hazardous use of traditional chlorine sanitisers. There is nothing like swimming in 100% crystal clear, clean, fresh, water! By simply adding the recommended dosage of salt directly into the pool, the system automatically converts the water into a highly effective algaecide which will kill bacteria.
This salt water system includes:
- 2000 gallon/hour (7570 litres) filter pump set
- control panel (touch sensitive) for pre-programmed operating hours
- keypad locking system to prevent accidental alterations
- flow-sensor system - alerts any adverse operating conditions
- self-cleaning titanium-coated electrolytic cell for continued performance
Many people worry that a pool using a salt-water cleansing system will be like swimming in the sea, but it isn't as it doesn't contain anywhere near the same levels of salt so you don't feel/smell salty - you are just left with softer skin and no irritation to your eyes! Also as the salt doesn't evaporate like chlorine does it is much easier to maintain as a result.
